Training: Specialist Manager in Participatory Management of Natural Resources

Interest and purpose of the training

The objective of this training is to strengthen the skills of natural resource managers in participatory management.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Define participatory management and the steps involved
• Make use of social communication in facilitating participatory management processes
• Facilitate an analysis of natural resources management situation
• Initiate and implement a participatory management process
• Facilitate a conflict management process
• Promote the development of innovations in the participatory management of natural resources
