Training: Specialist Manager in Monitoring and Evaluation of Agricultural Projects

Interest and purpose of the training

• Acquire basic knowledge on agricultural projects
• Learn about methods and tools for planning agricultural projects and develop a critical look at these tools
• Understand standard methods and tools used in evaluations of agricultural and rural development projects and programs
• Gain skills in conducting assessment missions (TOR, responses to tenders, evaluation reports)
• Design a monitoring and evaluation system and measure the effects and impacts of agricultural projects

• Introduction to Specialist Manager in Monitoring and Evaluation of Agricultural Projects Profession
• Definitions, characteristics and typology of agricultural and rural development projects
• Project cycle management
• Planning and editing a project (logical framework, operation plan, budgeting)
• Monitoring and evaluation system and indicators
• Different forms of evaluation and project evaluation criteria
• The conduct of an external evaluation mission (terms of reference, methodological construction, evaluation report ...)
• Impact evaluation

Accreditation

Successful completion of exams corrected by CODEV International and the National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia (INAT) is recognized by the delivery of official certification awarding the participant as Specialist Manager in Monitoring and Evaluation of Agricultural Projects
