Interest and purpose of the training

The purpose of this training workshop is to enhance participants' capacity to lead to the development and adoption of a national health sector strategy for the CC.

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Develop and carry out health impact, vulnerability and adaptive capacity assessment in relation to climate change;
  • Translate results of the assessment into adaptation needs and options;
  • Develop a climate change and health adaptation strategy and national/subnational health action plans;
